Each year, 25,000 in San Antonio are homeless.

Each night, 2,500 people sleep on San Antonio streets.

47% of the homeless are families with children. In fact, there are so many homeless children that the average
                                        age of the homeless is just 9 years of age.
                                            *Haven for Hope will keep families together and will give parents the help they need to make this possible.
30% of the homeless are U.S. veterans.
                                           *Haven for Hope will have designated areas and programs to serve those men and women who served
                                             our country.
27% of the homeless are employed, but nearly half of them earn less than $350 per month.

Jail and emergency care for homeless individuals accounts for more than $41 million in taxpayer dollars
every year.
