Haven for Hope is a faith-inspired effort in San Antonio where spiritual care is intentionally provided through the unified efforts and services of Partners and Volunteers. Opportunities are developed in recognition that holistic healing and transformation include the Spirit, Body, and Mind. Each person at Haven for Hope, whether they live here or work here, is prayerfully met in honor and respect for their Human Worth and Dignity with openness to their Religious Preference and Culture.

Best practices are key to the formation and on-going work at Haven for Hope. That includes spiritual services as well. These spiritual best practices also provide an array of volunteer opportunities for people from across the spectrum of faith traditions. So, within your faith expression and religious preference, perhaps you can find yourself volunteering at Haven!…

As you can see on the Haven for Hope map there are two general and geographic areas at Haven –

  • Prospects Courtyard where folks can get safe overnight & outdoor lodging along with 3 meals a day, showers, and other helpful human resources, and,

  • Haven for Hope’s Main Campus where live-in residents make a life plan and commitment to transition and transformation.

Both areas have a chapel (Prospects Chapel & Chapel of Hope at Haven) and both offer lots of opportunities for ministry and service. Churches, faith communities, and other groups who would like to volunteer for these opportunities are free to connect with any of the  contacts below for more information and asked to submit a request.
