Request for Proposal – Resource Center Repairs Phase 2
Haven for Hope is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to perform structural and finish repairs at the Resource Center building.
Proposal Submission Deadline:
Interested parties should submit their proposals by 5:00 PM CST, Wednesday, August 19, 2026, via email to Peter Ramirez (Peter.Ramirez@havenforhope.org) with a copy to RFP@havenforhope.org.
All Requests for Information (RFIs) must be submitted via email by no later than 10:00 AM CST, Friday, August 14, 2026. Responses may be shared with all bidding contractors.
Site Visit:
An optional site visit will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST (meeting location: Volunteer Center, 1 Haven for Hope Way, San Antonio, TX 78207). The site visit is highly recommended to answer all questions and to provide clarification.
Scope of Services:
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the construction documents and specifications.
Scope includes, but is not limited to:
- SELECTIVE REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION OF EXISTING CONCRETE CURB WALLS.
- PARTIAL DEPTH REPAIR OF CONCRETE WALL.
- PARTIAL DEPTH REPAIR OF CONCRETE BEAM-COLUMN CONNECTION AREAS (VERTICAL).
- SHALLOW DEPTH REPAIR OF CONCRETE SLAB/BEAM SOFFIT (OVERHEAD).
- INSTALLATION OF STEEL CORBEL AT SELECTED BEAM-COLUMN CONNECTIONS.
- FINISHING AND PAINTING OF ALL REPAIRED AREAS TO MATCH EXISTING TEXTURE, SHEEN AND COLOR.
Project Completion: All work must be completed and invoiced on or before September 25, 2026.
Proposals should include:
- Detailed project plan and timeline;
- Cost breakdown including materials and labor;
- Completed unit pricing for Repair Items 1 through 5, together with an estimated total contract price calculated using the estimated quantities provided in this RFP and any issued addenda;
- List of required permits, including associated costs and timelines;
- Description of relevant experience and qualifications;
- Certificate of Insurance (COI); and
- Acknowledgment of any addenda issued in connection with this RFP.
