Haven for Hope is seeking qualified pest management contractors to submit proposals for comprehensive pest, rodent, and bed bug prevention, inspection, treatment, monitoring, and emergency response services throughout the Haven for Hope Campus in San Antonio, Texas.
The selected contractor will provide proactive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services designed to maintain a safe, healthy, sanitary, and pest-free environment while minimizing disruptions to campus operations.
Bid Submission Deadline:
Interested parties shall submit proposals no later than 5:00 PM CST on Thursday, July 16, 2026, via email to Peter.Ramirez@havenforhope.org.
Site Visit:
An optional in-person site walkthrough will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

The site walkthrough is strongly encouraged to allow contractors the opportunity to review campus conditions, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of project requirements.
Scope of Services:
The selected contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, consumables, and transportation necessary to perform comprehensive pest management services, including but not limited to the following:
Routine Preventive Pest Services
- Scheduled inspections and preventative treatments
- Implementation of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices
- Monitoring and treatment of common pests including:
- Cockroaches
- Ants
- Spiders
- Fleas
- Flies
- Mosquitoes
- Crickets
- Wasps
- Silverfish
- Other nuisance insects
Rodent Control Services
- Inspection and identification of rodent activity
- Installation and maintenance of bait stations and traps
- Interior and exterior rodent monitoring
- Recommendations for exclusion methods and structural corrections
- Removal and disposal of rodents as required
Bed Bug Services
- Inspection and identification of bed bug activity in dormitories and sleeping areas
- Development and implementation of treatment plans
- Follow-up inspections and retreatments as necessary
- Recommendations for prevention and containment measures
- Documentation of affected areas and corrective actions
Emergency Response Services
- Emergency service availability
- Response to severe infestations and health-related concerns
- Guaranteed response times for:
- Emergency service requests
- Routine service requests
Reporting Requirements
- Service reports following each visit
- Treatment records and products utilized
- Documentation of infestation findings
- Corrective action recommendations
- Quarterly trend and activity reports
- Documentation of recurring problem areas
Proposal Requirements:
Interested contractors shall submit the following information as part of their proposal package:
- Company qualifications and years of experience
- Experience servicing large campuses, shelters, healthcare facilities, or residential facilities
- Proposed inspection and service schedules
- Description of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach
- Emergency response procedures and response times
- Technician certifications and licenses
- References from at least three (3) comparable clients
- Proposed contract term options
- Pricing structure including:
- Routine service costs
- Bed bug treatment costs
- Emergency response rates
- Additional service rates
- Recurring costs
- Proof of insurance
- List of subcontractors (if applicable)
